MyDutyToGod is not an official application of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

MyDutyToGod is an application created to assist Young Men of the Church, as well as their parents and leaders, in their efforts to fulfill the Duty to God program.

Key features:

• The young man can write plans and his feelings in what is called a "journal."
• All the content of the application is available offline. Everything written by the young man can also be accessed offline.
• If the device has no internet and the young man completes a section, upon connecting to the internet, the database will be updated. This will help prevent the issue of young men sometimes losing their books and getting discouraged.
• It offers the functionality to navigate directly from the application to the "Gospel Library" when scriptures are mentioned in different sections. This is highly beneficial in assisting the young man and leaders in its use.
• Friends, parents, and leaders (followers) can track the young man when they download the application. Followers cannot see the details of what the young man writes, but they can see under which topic he wrote. This was designed to encourage adults so that when they receive a notification that a young man has completed something, they can go talk to him and find out what goal he set to help him. The application is not meant to replace face-to-face contact but rather to provide support for more frequent and personal interaction. It also helps quorum presidents invite other young men in their group to discuss their set plans.

This application offers several benefits:

1. Notifications are received when a young man writes something.
2. Followers can view the complete history of the young man with dates for tracking purposes.
3. There is a section showing all items from Duty to God where one can quickly see which plans were made but not reflected in the journal entry, providing an opportunity to have a conversation with the young man.
4. Reminders will prompt young men about their plans and remind adults to approach them about their progress after a certain time.
5. For young men receiving notifications from others who have made plans and written in their journals, it serves as motivation and a reminder of their own Duty to God.
